Our Safety Policy

It is the policy of Fran-Zok Engineering Works Limited to commit to the highest standards for the health and safety of all the people concerned with our works and the environment where we work. We strive to ensure the safety, health and welfare of our workers and other people in and around our construction sites and offices. We also ensure that the environment is safe and not degraded directly or indirectly in the course of our works. We therefore, regularly provide the information, training, control and supervision needed to achieve the successful company HSE policy.

It is the policy of the Company in addition to the information and training given to the company employees, to also prevent people not employed by the company access to likely unsafe areas that may be prone to accident, in any site of our construction activities.

All employees have the responsibility to co-operate with the supervisors and foremen to achieve safety at work place and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.

The company management consults with all staff and employees on matters of health and safety on regular basis. The employees are highly encouraged to comply with all the safety instructions and policy and to promptly notify the company management of any identified hazards at the work place that may be observed by them.

The company has a laid-down safety rules for its employee, which is regularly updated in line with changes in the nature and scope of operational activities.

Disciplinary Strict measures are taken against any offender of the company safety rules.

The management of Fran-Zok Engineering Works Limited believes that every accident is preventable, so our plans and efforts are geared towards zero accident target.

Safety Policy Statement

To ensure the success of this policy, we endeavor to do the following:-
  1. Every staff is regularly examined physically and medically by a Government registered medical practitioner.
  2. Give information of any known potential health, safety and environmental hazards to the company employee, clients and other people that have access to project sites.
  3. Provide safe working environment and clearly/boldly mark and display warning signs of potential dangers.
  4. Provide adequate personal protective equipment and safety harness and enforce the usage.
  5. Provide first aid facilities.
  6. Undertaking the staff on safety training courses organized by reputable organization.
  7. Ensure staff working in marine environment, are capable of swimming and provided with floatation gadgets.
  8. Protect the environment and guide against degradation.
  9. Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of our machinery and equipment.
  10. Report accidents quickly, if it occurs and proper investigation is made to know the cause with the view of preventing a re-occurrence.
